The objecti<strong>ve</strong> of this study is to examine the economic crises in de<strong>ve</strong>loping<br />

countries in 1990’s with considering international capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments to these countries.<br />

In the study firstly, concept of international capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments and the factors which<br />

effects to international capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments was examined. In the second part of the<br />

study, the effects of international capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments on economy were explained. In this<br />

part also economic crises was defined and classified with the help of international capital<br />

mo<strong>ve</strong>ments. Economic crisis indicators which de<strong>ve</strong>loped for suggesting crisis was<br />

researched and the relationship between capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments and crisis indicators was<br />

showed to find the working principles of economic crisis models.<br />

In the last part of this study, economic crises in some chosen de<strong>ve</strong>loping countries<br />

examined. The economic crises were defined and determined the crisis models that<br />

explain those crises. E<strong>ve</strong>ntually interaction of international capital mo<strong>ve</strong>ments and<br />

economic crises was tried to find and show, in progress of economic crisis.<br />
