Born on the 23 rd of June, 1992 at Edith Opperman Maternity Clinic in the historic
Early Life
Mbare National Township, Nutty O is the eldest in a family of 4.
Throughout his childhood, he had to relocate several times as his parents were
separated. This resulted in Nutty O enrolling at 3 different primary schools namely
Mberi, Zengeza 7, and Dzivarasekwa 6. His secondary school education was done at
Glenview 1 High School and St. Peters Kubatana. The talented artist who refers to
himself by a charade of colloquial names such notably Africaz Finest, did his

Advanced level studies at Cranborne Boys High School in Harare were he took up
commercial subjects.
Music is not the only special endowment that Nutty O has been blessed with. In 6 th
Grade while enrolled at Dzivarasekwa Primary School, he became Cricket Captain
earning himself the nickname “Sachin Tendulkar” a bit later in life. Nutty O also
displayed amazing talent on the Soccer pitch yet again earning himself the nickname
Zinedine Zidane after the phenomenal Frenchman.

Career
Nutty started professional recording at Cashlibs Studio when he was 21. That is when
the mustard seed was sown as his career has been on a progressive growth since then.
It wasn’t long before Radio stations and the general public started showing some love
for Nutty O’s musical creations.

Life Philosophy
Nutty O is a strong believer in God. He believes that all wishes and prayers aligned
with complementary action will never fail in life. Some of the traits that the young
wise artist embraces are straightforwardness, humility, and loyalty.
Nutty wishes to advise all aspiring artists that, “no matter how hard it may be for
you to achieve anything you want in life, courageously make a decision to persist the
pursuit until you get there because it is possible.”
Inspiration
Nutty O is a self-driven individual whose need to achieve greatness is his supreme

inspiration. Jamaican music also played a very inspirational role leading Nutty O up
to taking the mic in his infancy. He likes to list the artists that inspired him as Tony
Rebel, Garnett Silk, Sanchez, Lukie D, and Jah Vinci.
The young chanter aspires to be an iconic Zimbabwean International act representing
the country and Africa at large on the global music platform.
His favorite song of all time would be Redemption Song by legendary Jamaican
Reggae superstar Bob Marley because, “it’s a liberation song.”

His dreams go beyond music as Nutty O is a young telecommunications engineer in
the making as well. Nutty O prefers surrounding himself with positive and loyal
people who see the need to dare change the world.
