TESTING OF DIFFERENT MOISTURE INHIBITORS-COMPARISON
WITH FLOROSIL, CREOM AND CONDRY
1. Introduction
Some of the materials used for the moisture stop are tested. The tests are performed on the concrete
plates cast of K5 and K40 concrete.
The evaluation is done by measuring the material consumption, water absorption and water vapor
transmission.
2. Materials and Methods
Florosil, Creom and Condry NT50
K 50 Concrete
K40 concrete
3. Material Consumption
Concrete plates of 50x50x5 cm (k50) were cast at the concrete ready mix factory and the small
concrete plate were cast with (K40)ready mix Grove Betong delivered by Maxit AB. These were
divided in equal parts and painted by brush with the materials mentioned. The coating was done 2
times at the interval of 1 day. Consumption of the material is shown in the table 1
