Admitted to PhD studies, English B or equivalent.
3. Learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding:
After completing the course, the Ph D student should have the following
knowledge and understanding:
· be well acquainted with some of the most important twentieth-century
theories of knowledge and rationality
Skills and abilities:
· be capable of reading and discussing advanced issues in the theory
of science, and be able to apply these to their own field of research
· be able to compare and critically evaluate different ways of looking
at the controversy between so-called constructivist and anticonstructivism
or objectivist thought
