summertime when the barbecue is not in use, it is
best stored under a roof with a protective hood on.
it is important to protect the barbecue from moist
and cold. if you live near the sea (within 3,5 miles)
we recommend that you keep the barbecue indoors,
since the salt in the air can decrease the working life
of the barbecue.
When the season is over, consider the following
points for storage:
1. let the barbecue cool down completely.
2. Disconnect the hose and gas cylinder.
3. clean the barbecue.
4. store the barbecue in a dry place and protect it
from the cold.
5. make sure that the hose is not bent.
6. Keep the mounting instructions with barbecue.
7. clean the cooking grid and burner. Grease the
cooking grid with cooking oil before storage.
avoid keeping the gas cylinder below ground level,
since propane gas is heavier than air. luckily the gas
is volatile and small quantities will evaporate rapidly.
Gas cylinders – even if empty – must be kept upright.
always check the barbecue before use that the gas
leading parts of the barbecue is not blocked by
insects or similar. This can cause a stop in the gas
supply.
the new cylinder has been inspected by the supplier.
Hose and Regulator
Please note that there are different types of regulators
in different countries. check what applies in your
country.
always check the hose and regulator each time you
use the barbecue. make sure that the hose clips and
joints are tight. change them if any part is damaged.
Burners
if you have note used the barbecue for a while,
please check that the openings of the burners are not
blocked by spider web, insect’s nest or similar. remove
the blocking with a pipe cleaner, bottle brush
or similar.
