Nadezhda Schepachiova moved from starryeyedchild to romantic young woman with an easethat made this tricky task appear deceptively simple. She and Egor Schepachiov as Prince Nutcracker YuriGrigo-rovich´s beautifully interpretive choreography.Good work once again from a high quality corpsde ballet who helped to add gloss to a productionthat overcame staging which did not live up to itsperforming standards.»În internet în categoria comunicărilor TVşi radio din 20 ianuarie 2004 apare articolul“Traditional ballet at its best” care relatează:«Every performance of a ballet is different andThe Nutcracker is one dance that has been adapted inevery possible way in the century since it was written. In the past fewmonths a very successfulproduction of The Nutcrackercarne to theHippodrome, care of theEnglish National Ballet. With designs bycaricaturist Gerald Scarfe, its fresh reworking ofthis most Christmassy ofballets was a delight. And, in a differentway, so is its presentincarnation from theChisinau National Ballet, which took the tale ofthe young girl and thewooden soldier back toits roots.Choreographed byone of the great namesof Russian ballet, Yuri Grigorovich, this was danceperformed in a classic, but elegant way.If it lacked some of the humour and sparkleof the English National Ballet production, it morethan made up for it in its professionalism andfeeling of familiarity.Impeccable dancingDancing by Principals Serghei Ilin as Drosselmeyer,Egor Schepachiov as Prince Nutcracker and NadezhdaSchepachiova as Marie was impeccable. It was also nice to see a female conductorSvetlana Popova take centre stage in what is sooften a male-dominated field.Tschaikovsky΄s wonderful score was as always adelight to hear and she kept a steady hand on the fulland enthausiastic orchestra. The story of the young girl and her toy whichturns into a handsome prince, battles mice and takesher to a land of magic, is always a pleasure to see.TraditionalBykeeping things simple and traditional theChisinau National Ballet avoided a “fashionable”label and in so doing managed to be quite unusual– though it perhaps could have done with a littlemore “oomph”.The choreography may have seemed “grand” in1966 when it was arranged by Grigorovich but it niw hasa cosy feeling of familiarity and a simplicity that allows thetale to stand on its own feet.In whatever incarna-tion it may have The Nutcrackeris seldom less than magical and that can never go out offashion.»FORMAŢIA „O-ZONE”„O-Zone” este o formaţie de muzică pop, care s-a înfiinţat în 1999 la Chişinău în componenţaDan Bălan, Petru Jelihovski, dar consacrareas-a făcut la lansarea în România în formulaDan Bălan, Radu Sârbu şi Arsenie Toderaş.Formaţia cântă muzică dance şi a lansat câtevamelodii care au ajuns pe primul loc în topurileromâneşti şi moldoveneşti.
