Ophtalmologie conferencesscientifiques sept/oct. 2007, vol. SummaryThe study included 43 patients with strabismus. There were 27 cases with esodeviations and 16 cases withexodeviation. Surgical approach consisted in recession(43,33% esodeviations and 11,77% exodeviations),resection (6,67% esodeviations and 29,41% exodeviations),recession-resection (50,00% esodeviations and 58,82%exodeviations). Postoteratively, the deviation reduced tothe orthotropia (6-8 DP) in 77,77% cases for esotropia and81,25% cases for exotropia and in some cases (16,26%)we observed an increase of binocularity.
