Petrol. Stocurile <strong>de</strong> petrol din Statele Unite au scazut in ultima
saptamana cu 3,2 milioane barili. Asteptarile analistilor erau <strong>de</strong> o
crestere a stocurilor cu 2,4 milioane barili <strong>de</strong> petrol.
Rezultatele General Electric pentru primul trimestru al 2008 s-au
situat sub estimarile analistilor si chiar mai mici <strong>de</strong>cat rezultatele
pentru trimestrul I al 2007. Aceasta veste a indus panica in randul
investitorilor <strong>de</strong> pe pietele externe la final <strong>de</strong> saptamana, provocand
sca<strong>de</strong>ri pe principalii indici bursieri. Profitul a fost <strong>de</strong> 44 centi/actiune,
fata <strong>de</strong> 48 centi/actiune inregistrat in aceeasi perioada a anului
trecut.
