The Light Trail
Dâra de lumină

From the edge of boundlessness, the meteor,
on ways of light years, swiftly, he had started;
the immensities wore out his tour;
entering the Earth's atmosphere, he got lit.
He shone as long as it takes a flash
and then was dissipated in his great ravage,
his meteoric fate in this big world
was given to him to shine not for long.
He went emerging through the „wall of light”
entering another consubstantiality,
but the trail of light remained in the sky
to light the darkness of night.

Din marginea nemărginirii, meteorul,
pe căi de ani-lumină, grabnic, se pornise;
imensităţile îi obosise zborul;
intrând în atmosfera Terrei, se aprinse.
A strălucit cât ţine o străfulgerare
şi-apoi s-a disipat în marea lui risipă,
că soarta-i meteorică în lumea-i mare
e dată cât să strălucească doar o clipă.
Trecuse emergent prin „zidul de eter”,
intrând în altă consubstanţialitate,
dar dâra de lumină a rămas pe cer
şi luminează întunericul din noapte.
