bicarbonatate, carbogazoase, cloruro-sodice, sulfuroase. Din aceasta categorie fac parte apele minerale in
detaliata a indicatiilor terapeutice.
necesara recomandarea acestor surse in utilizarea lor balneara.
PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SULPHATED WATERS AND
THERAPEUTIC IMPORTANCE OF THESE
These purpose of this report is to develop a physico-chemical comparative study on some
sulphate waters and presentation of their characteristic indicators interdependence.
In our country are known sources of sulfate mineral water, besides hydrocarbonated and
carbonated water, chlorine and soda or sulphurous waters. In this category are mineral waters where
sulfate is the predominant anion ( over 20% mg/l SO4 ) with a total mineralization over 1g/liter.
As an area of widespread, sources of hydro sulfate water can be spotted only in some areas of the
country. They are represented by springs with low flows, wells from which water is taken only when
neede, wells from which water is taken only when needed, wells have intercepted mineralized aquifers (
sulfate ) layers, water lakes with where high concentration in the sulfate anion has an important role.
This report proposes a more thorough knowledge that could help the doctor in determining more
accurate and detailed therapeutic indications.
In our country there are few sulphated water and their uses are limited, but one thing is certain,
namely that the sulfate anion has a significant role in the finalization of therapeutic indications and their
use in internal and external spa cure.
Knowing that in our country there are other sources besides the traditional hydro-sulfate water
which have special physical and chemical qualities and favorable therapeutic indications, these sources
should be recommended for use the spa cures.
Introduction: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease,
characterized by degeneration of articular cartilage, hypertrophy of bone at the margins, and changes in
the synovial membrane. It is accompanied by pain (usually before prolonged activity) and stiffness
(special after prolonged activity).
The pathogenesis of OA is closely linked to the pathogenesis of cartilage degradation. The
primary injury in OA is cartilage degradation. The damage of matrix collagen and proteoglycans is
