d) si e) sunt puncte care se gasesc la intersectia unei semidrepte, duse din<br />

originea sitemului <strong>de</strong> coordonate, cu polara vitezelor. Aceste puncte<br />

corespund la doua situatii <strong>de</strong> <strong>zbor</strong> in care planorul evolueaza cu<br />

aceeasi finete, k = ctg θ.<br />

Punctul d) corespun<strong>de</strong> <strong>zbor</strong>ului la inci<strong>de</strong>nte mari(viteza mica), iar punctul<br />

e), <strong>zbor</strong>ului la inci<strong>de</strong>nte mici(viteza mare), (vezi polara profilului).<br />

Pentru <strong>zbor</strong>urile <strong>de</strong> performanta in planorism, polara vitezelor are o<br />

<strong>de</strong>osebita utilitate practica, facilitand exploatarea aeronavei in regimul dorit,<br />

construirea diferitelor abace <strong>de</strong> calcul, sau alegerea si compararea<br />

performantelor diferitelor tipuri <strong>de</strong> planoare.<br />

Pornind <strong>de</strong> la relatiile care stabilesc factorii <strong>de</strong> care <strong>de</strong>pin<strong>de</strong> viteza <strong>de</strong><br />

ca<strong>de</strong>re si cea <strong>de</strong> <strong>zbor</strong>, sa discutam unele din cerintele principale care se impun<br />

pentru planoarele mo<strong>de</strong>rne.<br />
