Prin tehnica folositå, utilizând metilmetracrilat
sau silicon, practic orice parte a corpului omenesc
poate fi reconstruitå, fårå contraindica¡ii <strong>de</strong> sex
sau vârstå, ob¡inându-se proteze (epiteze sau endoproteze)
u¿oare, bine tolerate, cu flexibilitate corespunzåtoare,
colorate sintetic, cu o integrare perfectå
în arhitectura regiunii respective fåcând-o
greu observabilå datoritå acoperirii cu piele proteticå
asemånåtoare celei naturale sau råmânând
în corp toatå via¡a în cazul celor implantabile. Protezele
se fixeazå printr-un bioa<strong>de</strong>ziv nonalergic
sau prin implante <strong>de</strong> titaniu, minimagne¡i (proce<strong>de</strong>ul
<strong>de</strong> osteointegrare, metoda BranemarK).
Rol estetic, func¡ional ¿i sociologic, cu implica¡ii
psihologice mari pentru o altå calitate a vie¡ii.

rehabilitation
The author presents her experience over a
period of eight years (1997-2006) regarding a
cohort of 315 patients.
In an extensive loss of tissues resulted from
congenital malfomations (maxilar and madibular
malformations, micro retrognatie, micro stoma),
collagenosis (sclero<strong>de</strong>rmie, <strong>Rom</strong>berg Sindrome),
traffic and work acci<strong>de</strong>nt, post surgical (cancer
and facial nerve paralyze), when usual surgical
procedures fail to establish the normal look of the
patient silicone epitheses and endoprosthetic reconstruction
(rehabilitation) intervenes.
Using a specific technique and materials like:
silicon elastomer, the resulted endoprostheses replaces
and creates the aesthetic and a normal anatomy
of the specified region, tolerated very well,
elastic and non-allergic and with a perfect acceptation
from the body all the life.

Rezumat
Utilizarea sistemelor <strong>de</strong> culise în e<strong>de</strong>nta¡ia <strong>de</strong>
clasa I Kennedy, tratatå cu proteze scheletate, prezintå
anumite particularitå¡i. În evaluarea <strong>de</strong>zavantajelor
sistemelor <strong>de</strong> culisare practicianul trebuie
så aibå în ve<strong>de</strong>re efectul nociv <strong>de</strong> „extensie distalå“
pe care poate så-l aibå asupra din¡ilor restan¡i. Pentru
a preveni apari¡ia acestui efect nociv ¿i a diminua
uzura prematurå a culiselor este necesar ca protezele
så fie concepute ¿i realizate cu elemente care
så asigure sprijin parodontal, stabilizarea protezei,
dar mai ales efectul contra basculant.

Abstract
There are many peculiarities in using attachments
for Kennedy 1 class e<strong>de</strong>ntulous patients.
The major disadvantage is the cantilever effect.
To prevent this is necessary to <strong>de</strong>sign the framework
prosthesis with special body parts to assure
reliance and stability.
