IV.3.4. Microscopia <strong>de</strong> forta atomica (AFM)<br />

Investigatii <strong>de</strong> microscopie <strong>de</strong> forta atomica au fost efectuate pe proba BSF3 si pe<br />

o proba suplimentara BSF6 cu 17.5 wt% Fe2O3 and 0.3 wt.% Al2O3. In acest scop s-a<br />

folosit un microscop AFM <strong>de</strong> tip MultiMo<strong>de</strong> NanoScope IIID Controller (Digital<br />

Instruments Veeco Metrology Group, Santa Barbara, CA, USA). Probele au fost scanate<br />

folosind modul <strong>de</strong> lucru contact intermitent (Tapping Mo<strong>de</strong>). Varful (RTESP – Veeco<br />

Instruments GmbH) a fost folosit la o frecventa <strong>de</strong> aproximativ 300 kHz.<br />

Topografia si imaginea <strong>de</strong> faza a suprafetelor celor doua probe au fost obtinute la<br />

o rezolutie <strong>de</strong> 256x256 pixeli si o frecventa <strong>de</strong> 0.5 Hz. Masuratorile au fost facute la<br />

temperatura camerei. Imaginile au fost prelucrate folosind softul NanoScope versiunea<br />

531r1. Datele experimentale sunt prezentate mai jos:<br />

a) Proba BSF3. Figurile 5, 6, si 7 prezinta imagini tridimensionale ale suprafetei<br />

probei luate in doua moduri diferite: direct si unghiular.<br />
