Leziunile generatoare <strong>de</strong> <strong>stroke</strong> <strong>hemoragic</strong> in <strong>fosa</strong> <strong>craniana</strong><br />
posterioara sunt impartite in doua mari categorii:<br />
m<strong>al</strong>formatii vasculare evi<strong>de</strong>nte angiografic - m<strong>al</strong>formatii<br />
arteriovenoase si anevrisme<br />
m<strong>al</strong>formatii vasculare oculte angiografic –cavernoame.<br />
Acestor leziuni li se adauga hematoamele<br />
intraparenchimatoase spontane, pe fondul hipertensiunii<br />
arteri<strong>al</strong>e si ateromatozei cerebr<strong>al</strong>e avansate.<br />
La un anumit moment imprevizibil in evolutia lor natur<strong>al</strong>a,<br />
ambele tipuri <strong>de</strong> m<strong>al</strong>formatii vasculare atat cele oculte cat si<br />
cele evi<strong>de</strong>nte angiografic, sufera rupturi soldate cu<br />
hemoragii <strong>de</strong> gravitate si intin<strong>de</strong>re variabila.<br />
Efectul acestora este cel mai a<strong>de</strong>sea dramatic, soldat cu<br />
<strong>de</strong>teriorari severe <strong>al</strong>e starii <strong>de</strong> constienta si iminenta<br />
<strong>de</strong>ces<strong>ului</strong> in absenta unui tratament a<strong>de</strong>cvat.
