de risc intercurenţi. S-a descris chiar posibilitatea “schimbării profilului clinic” al<br />

bolnavilor, care din colopaţi devin dispeptici şi invers (8). Variabilitatea în timp explică<br />

şi variaţiile mari ale fenomenului de “overlap” (25). Studiul nostru semnalează mutaţii<br />

din cele mai diverse la un an de la luarea în evidenţă a bolnavilor, cu modificări<br />

simptomatice intrasegmentare şi chiar cu deplasări ale simptomelor de la segmentul<br />

proximal la cel distal şi invers..<br />

Explicaţia tuturor acestor observaţii clinice rezidă în caracterul comun al<br />

factorilor de risc pentru toate TFD, al mecanismelor de control (anomaliile axului<br />

“brain-gut”) şi ale tulburărilor funcţionale de bază (hipersensibilitate, dismotilitate).<br />

In clinică, identificarea asocierilor este importantă pentru individualizarea<br />

terapiei.<br />
