Solução <strong>de</strong> problemas <strong>de</strong> configurações SAN<br />

Dispositivos compartilha<strong>do</strong>s aparecem como não disponíveis ou offline<br />

Váli<strong>do</strong> em plataformas Win<strong>do</strong>ws.<br />

Sintoma:<br />

Os dispositivos compartilha<strong>do</strong>s nos servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN<br />

são marca<strong>do</strong>s como indisponíveis ou offline.<br />

Isto po<strong>de</strong> ser causa<strong>do</strong> pela or<strong>de</strong>m em que os serviços <strong>de</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas<br />

<strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> foram inicia<strong>do</strong>s no <strong>do</strong>mínio.<br />

■ Se o serviço <strong>de</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong> foi inicia<strong>do</strong> antes <strong>de</strong> o mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r principal ter<br />

finaliza<strong>do</strong> a instalação, o servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante aguardará um perío<strong>do</strong> <strong>de</strong><br />

tempo pelo servi<strong>do</strong>r principal, mas eventualmente iniciará sem po<strong>de</strong>r<br />

"compartilhar" os dispositivos.<br />

■ Se o serviço <strong>de</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong> foi inicia<strong>do</strong> antes <strong>de</strong> o mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r principal ter<br />

inicia<strong>do</strong>, o servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante aguardará um perío<strong>do</strong> <strong>de</strong> tempo pelo<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal, mas eventualmente iniciará sem po<strong>de</strong>r "compartilhar"<br />

os dispositivos.<br />

Solução:<br />

Verifique o log <strong>de</strong> ativida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> <strong>para</strong> ver quan<strong>do</strong> e em<br />

que or<strong>de</strong>m os serviços po<strong>de</strong>m ter começa<strong>do</strong>. Verifique se to<strong>do</strong>s os dispositivos<br />

<strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r principal <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> estão inicializa<strong>do</strong>s, então,<br />

apenas o reinício <strong>do</strong> serviço <strong>do</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas no(s) servi<strong>do</strong>r(es)<br />

integrante(s) será suficiente <strong>para</strong> resolver o problema.<br />

Importante: ao iniciar o serviço <strong>do</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas em um <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong><br />

<strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> que é parte <strong>de</strong> uma SAN, é importante sempre iniciar o<br />

serviço <strong>do</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>r principal primeiro e <strong>de</strong>ixá-lo inicializar completamente<br />

antes <strong>de</strong> iniciar o serviço <strong>do</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas em qualquer <strong>do</strong>s servi<strong>do</strong>res<br />

integrantes.<br />

Dispositivos IBM compartilha<strong>do</strong>s são exibi<strong>do</strong>s como indisponíveis ou offline<br />

Váli<strong>do</strong> em plataformas Win<strong>do</strong>ws.<br />

Sintoma:<br />

Os dispositivos <strong>de</strong> fita IBM compartilha<strong>do</strong>s nos servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes<br />

conecta<strong>do</strong>s a SAN são marca<strong>do</strong>s como indisponíveis ou offline.<br />
