Solução <strong>de</strong> problemas <strong>de</strong> configurações SAN<br />

Dispositivos não são compartilha<strong>do</strong>s e o mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas está em execução<br />

Váli<strong>do</strong> em plataformas Win<strong>do</strong>ws.<br />

Sintoma:<br />

O serviço <strong>de</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas está ativa<strong>do</strong> e em funcionamento em to<strong>do</strong>s<br />

os servi<strong>do</strong>res conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN no <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>, mas os<br />

dispositivos NÃO estão marca<strong>do</strong>s como "compartilha<strong>do</strong>s" na GUI <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong><br />

<strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>. Os dispositivos conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN não são <strong>de</strong>tecta<strong>do</strong>s<br />

corretamente por to<strong>do</strong>s os servi<strong>do</strong>res conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN.<br />

Solução:<br />

A análise <strong>do</strong> zoneamento da SAN talvez seja necessária <strong>para</strong> garantir que<br />

to<strong>do</strong>s os servi<strong>do</strong>res participantes da SAN possam ver to<strong>do</strong>s os dispositivos<br />

―compartilha<strong>do</strong>s‖ através da SAN. Para isso, é necessário verificar o seguinte:<br />

■ Verifique em cada servi<strong>do</strong>r se os dispositivos ―compartilha<strong>do</strong>s‖ po<strong>de</strong>m ser<br />

vistos pelo sistema operacional, verifican<strong>do</strong> o Gerencia<strong>do</strong>r <strong>de</strong> dispositivos<br />

<strong>do</strong> Win<strong>do</strong>ws.<br />

– Se não po<strong>de</strong>m ser vistos pelo Win<strong>do</strong>ws, então verifique novamente o<br />

zoneamento da SAN <strong>para</strong> garantir que esse servi<strong>do</strong>r esteja incluí<strong>do</strong>. Se<br />

estiver incluí<strong>do</strong>, reinicie o servi<strong>do</strong>r <strong>para</strong> que o Win<strong>do</strong>ws <strong>de</strong>scubra os<br />

dispositivos. Quan<strong>do</strong> o Win<strong>do</strong>ws estiver ven<strong>do</strong> os dispositivos, então<br />

você po<strong>de</strong>rá reiniciar o mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>de</strong>ste computa<strong>do</strong>r.<br />

– Se o servi<strong>do</strong>r que estiver ten<strong>do</strong> o problema <strong>de</strong> ver os dispositivos for o<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal, então será necessário reiniciar o serviço <strong>de</strong><br />

mecanismos <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> nesse servi<strong>do</strong>r e, em<br />

seguida, em to<strong>do</strong>s os servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN neste<br />

<strong>do</strong>mínio.<br />

■ Verifique se os dispositivos ―compartilha<strong>do</strong>s‖ po<strong>de</strong>m ser vistos pelo <strong>CA</strong><br />

<strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> por meio <strong>do</strong> gerencia<strong>do</strong>r <strong>de</strong> dispositivos <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong>, olhan<strong>do</strong> em cada servi<strong>do</strong>r.<br />

– Se dispositivos ―compartilha<strong>do</strong>s‖ não po<strong>de</strong>m ser vistos pelo <strong>CA</strong><br />

<strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>, mas o Win<strong>do</strong>ws po<strong>de</strong> vê-los, então é necessário<br />

reiniciar o serviço <strong>de</strong> mecanismo <strong>de</strong> fitas.<br />

– Se o servi<strong>do</strong>r que estiver ten<strong>do</strong> o problema <strong>de</strong> ver os dispositivos for o<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal, então será necessário reiniciar o serviço <strong>de</strong><br />

mecanismos <strong>de</strong> fitas <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> nesse servi<strong>do</strong>r e, em<br />

seguida, to<strong>do</strong>s os servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes conecta<strong>do</strong>s à SAN neste<br />

<strong>do</strong>mínio.
