O Assistente <strong>para</strong> configuração <strong>de</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>res permite gerenciar a maneira<br />

como os servi<strong>do</strong>res <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> funcionam. Ao usar o Assistente<br />

<strong>de</strong> configuração <strong>de</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>res, é possível executar as seguintes tarefas:<br />

■ Gerenciar as funções <strong>do</strong>s servi<strong>do</strong>res <strong>de</strong> seu <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong>. Por exemplo, é possível:<br />

– Promover um servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> <strong>para</strong> um<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

– Rebaixar um servi<strong>do</strong>r principal <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> <strong>para</strong> um<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

– Permitir que um servi<strong>do</strong>r integrante seja se<strong>para</strong><strong>do</strong> <strong>de</strong> um <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong><br />

<strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> e anexa<strong>do</strong> a um outro <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

■ Selecionar o aplicativo que você <strong>de</strong>seja usar <strong>para</strong> gerenciar o banco <strong>de</strong><br />

da<strong>do</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

Para as instalações <strong>do</strong> Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express, o banco <strong>de</strong><br />

da<strong>do</strong>s <strong>de</strong>ve estar instala<strong>do</strong> no servi<strong>do</strong>r principal. Se você precisar da<br />

comunicação com banco <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s remoto, é necessário usar o Microsoft<br />

SQL Server <strong>para</strong> hospedar o banco <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong>.<br />

■ Mover o banco <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> <strong>para</strong> outros sistemas ou<br />

usar uma instância diferente <strong>de</strong> banco <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s SQL Server em seu<br />

ambiente.<br />

■ Re<strong>para</strong>r a conexão <strong>do</strong> banco <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> com um servi<strong>do</strong>r<br />

principal e servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes.
