servi<strong>do</strong>res principais e integrantes <strong>do</strong> <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> que<br />

facilitam a administração <strong>de</strong> servi<strong>do</strong>res e usuários <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

Além <strong>de</strong> fornecer um logon único <strong>para</strong> vários servi<strong>do</strong>res <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong><br />

<strong>Backup</strong>, ele também oferece o mesmo nível <strong>de</strong> acesso (privilégios) em to<strong>do</strong>s<br />

os servi<strong>do</strong>res <strong>para</strong> o mesmo usuário.<br />

Um <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> tem um nome e uma coleção <strong>de</strong> um<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal e um ou mais servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes. Isso permite que o<br />

usuário que esteja gerencian<strong>do</strong> o <strong>do</strong>mínio selecione qualquer servi<strong>do</strong>r <strong>do</strong><br />

<strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>- <strong>para</strong> executar o gerenciamento <strong>do</strong> banco <strong>de</strong><br />

da<strong>do</strong>s, o gerenciamento <strong>de</strong> fitas e <strong>de</strong> dispositivos, bem como o gerenciamento<br />

<strong>de</strong> programações e diretivas <strong>de</strong> backup sem a necessida<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong> efetuar logon<br />

se<strong>para</strong>damente em cada servi<strong>do</strong>r <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>.<br />

Servi<strong>do</strong>res principais distribuem instruções sobre tarefas e trabalhos aos<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes <strong>de</strong> um <strong>do</strong>mínio <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong>. Quan<strong>do</strong> um<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>r principal fica <strong>de</strong>sativa<strong>do</strong> ou indisponível por um perío<strong>do</strong>, tarefas como<br />

a execução <strong>de</strong> tarefas programadas e a autenticação <strong>de</strong> licenças em servi<strong>do</strong>res<br />

integrantes não funcionam a<strong>de</strong>quadamente.<br />

Cada <strong>do</strong>mínio tem um nome, um servi<strong>do</strong>r principal obrigatório <strong>de</strong>signa<strong>do</strong> e<br />

servi<strong>do</strong>res integrantes opcionais. No servi<strong>do</strong>r principal, é possível iniciar e<br />

interromper os serviços <strong>do</strong> <strong>CA</strong> <strong>ARCserve</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> em qualquer servi<strong>do</strong>r<br />

integrante <strong>do</strong> <strong>do</strong>mínio.<br />
