A curta "A Perfect Blue Sky" (2016) foi selecção do Festival
de Sundance, vencedora do Fantasia Film Festival (Canadá)
e do LA Indie Film Festival (E.U.A.).
Director known for "All the Gods in the "Sky" (2018), winner of the
Black Sea Festival and Special Mention of the Jury. His short
"A Perfect Blue Sky" (2016), was selected for the Sundance Festival
and winner in the Fantasia Film Festival (Canada) and the LA
Indie Film Festival (E.U.A.).

Um jovem cineasta brasileiro residente em Portugal vai ao
Brasil para a estreia do seu filme. No entanto, é apanhado pelas
restrições impostas pela pandemia. O festival é cancelado,
as viagens proibidas e a namorada em Lisboa desespera. Para
aproveitar o tempo, e em dificuldades, procura o pai de quem
há muito tempo nada sabe. Mas nem assim a vida se torna mais
fácil. Este filme brasileiro, uma lição de humanidade e amor,
vem de um cineasta já com mais de vinte prémios internacionais.
Selecção dos festivais de Nashville, San Sebastián, Varsóvia
e Tribeca de Nova Iorque, onde recebeu 4 prémios, entre
os quais Melhor Argumento e Melhor Actor.
A young Brazilian filmmaker living in Portugal goes back to Brazil
for the opening of his film. However, he is caught in the difficulties
caused by the pandemic. The opening is cancelled, no travelling
is allowed and his girlfriend gets impatient in Lisbon. To make the
most of his time, he decides to look for his father w with whom he
has no contact for years. But life does not get any easier.
A Brazilian film, giving a true lesson in humanity and love, coming
from a director with over twenty international awards. Selected for
many festivals, among which Nashville, San Sebastian, Warsaw,
and Tribeca – New York where it won 4 awards including Best
Screenplay and Best Actor.

Realizador brasileiro nascido em 1983, é presença habitual
nos maiores festivais do mundo, entre eles San Sebastián
e Roterdão. É conhecido, entre outras, pela suas longas–
metragens, "Road to Ithaca" (2010), "O Estranho Caso
de Ezequiel" (2016), "My Own Private Hell / Inferninho"
(2018), sendo a já muito premiada "Estranho Caminho" (2023)
a sua sétima longa–metragem.
Brazilian director born in 1983, a frequent presence in some of the
best festivals of the world like San Sebastian and Rotterdam. He is
also known for his features "Road to Ithaca" (2010), "O Estranho
Caso de Ezequiel" (2016), "My Own Private Hell / Inferninho"
(2018), and this already awarded "Estranho Caminho" (2023),
his seventh feature.
