Resumo
Introdução: O exame qualitativo de urina (EQU) é capaz de fornecer
elementos a elucidação diagnóstica sobre patologias renais, extra-renais
e do trato urinário e a fase pré-analítica é de extrema importância para o
correto processamento das amostras, influenciando diretamente na fase
analítica e na interpretação final do exame. Objetivo: Descrever os aspectos
relacionados as interferências que a fase pré-analítica pode causar no EQU.
Metodologia: Foi realizada uma revisão da literatura a partir de pesquisas
em artigos científicos disponíveis na base de dados do US National Library
of Medicine National Institutes of Health, Scientific Electronic Library
Online e Periódicos Capes nos idiomas português e inglês. Referencial
teórico: A fase pré-analítica é essencial para todo o desenvolvimento do
EQU, sendo divididas em subfases: pedido médico, coleta da amostra da
urina, transporte da amostra de urina para o laboratório, recebimento da
amostra de urina no laboratório, transporte da amostra de urina para o
setor analítico, processamento da amostra de urina, interferência da
alimentação pré-coleta, interferência da atividade física na amostra de
urina. Considerações finais: A fase pré-analítica é a mais suscetível a erros,
porque quase todos os processos desta fase ocorrem fora do laboratório
clínico e estão diretamente ligadas a conduta que cada paciente deve se
comprometer a realizar.

Abstract
Introduction: The qualitative urine test (EQU) is able to provide elements for
the diagnostic elucidation of renal, extra-renal and urinary tract pathologies
and the pre-analytical phase is extremely important for the correct
processing of samples, directly influencing the analytical phase and in the
final interpretation of the exam. Objective: To describe the aspects related to
the interferences that the pre-analytical phase can cause in the qualitative
examination of urine. Methodology: A literature review was carried out
based on research in scientific articles available in the database of the US
National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, Scientific Electronic
Library Online, and Capes Periodicals in Portuguese and English. Theoretical
framework: The pre-analytical phase is essential for the entire development
of the qualitative urine test, being divided into sub-phases: Medical order,
collection of the urine sample, transport of the urine sample to the laboratory,
receipt of the urine sample in the laboratory , transport of the urine sample
to the analytical department, processing the urine sample, interference from
pre-collection feeding, interference from physical activity in the urine sample.
Final considerations: The pre-analytical phase is the most susceptible to
errors, because almost all the processes in this phase take place outside the
clinical laboratory and are directly linked to the conduct that each patient
must undertake to carry out.
