VIII Municipal Education Forum
Educab Award
The Award Educab “Professora Terezinha Togni”
awards the teachers who contribute to Cabreúva
education, through innovative projects that make a
difference in schools. In this way, it also serves as an
incentive and recognition of teachers, who are dedicated
to the quality of education.
Last year, 14 teachers competed for the Educab
Award. The winners were teachers Juliana Aparecida
Guerreiro and Vanessa Cristina Antunes de Lima.
Professor Juliana, who teaches at EMEB Eliza
Zacharias Vecchio, won in the category “Citizenship
Development”; with his Libras in Early Childhood
Education project: Challenges and Possibilities. Professor
Vanessa Cristina Antunes de Lima, who teaches at
EMEB Jaira Batista Santana da Silva, competed and
won in the category “Commitment to the Quality of
Learning”; with the Family in Verses and Poetry project.
The teachers received BRL 20,000 each and another
BRL 5,000 for the schools where they work and another
BRL 5,000 for their classrooms.
New laptops for schools
This year, schools in Cabreúva received 612 new
laptops for use by teachers, coordinators, principals,
vice principals, educational development assistants and
educational psychologists.
This is yet another initiative to modernize the municipal
education network, aiming at speeding up the execution of
the work of these professionals in the area.
Promoted by the Municipality of Cabreúva, through
its Department of Education, the VIII Municipal
Education Forum deals with fundamental issues for the
pursuit of excellence in the sector.
The event, which began in the amphitheater of
Escola Mário Faccioli, in the city center, was attended
by educators from the municipal school system, as well
as directors, coordinators and other guests. Interested
parties were able to follow the event through the
Department of Education’s Youtube channel.
Through presentations, lectures and online workshops,
the general public can also participate in some of the
activities proposed by the Forum. Others, with specific
themes, are aimed at professionals in the educational
network.
On the last day of the Municipal Education Forum,
the winners of the Educab “Professora Terezinha Togni”.
