Urban mobility is also another topic
of great importance today. What challenges does
Cabreúva face in this regard and what opportunities
can be brought to the municipality?
As in any city experiencing growth, mobility is a
concern. Our management is primarily seeking to bring
infrastructure to neighborhoods that had not yet been
covered by paving the streets. It was like this in Vale
Verde and Fazendinha Real, in 2021. Jardim Zicatti and
Jardim Santana in May 2022. We recovered high-traffic
roads where most of the city’s commerce is concentrated.
I believe that carrying out infrastructure works is the
principle of urban mobility, as well as a matter of public
health. In terms of infrastructure, so far we have applied
more than 100,000 m² of asphalt throughout the city,
both on streets that did not yet have asphalt and also in
areas that needed resurfacing. And there’s a lot more to
come. Our paving plan will continue to include other
neighborhoods until the end of my term. In addition,
we will build the long-awaited Jacaré Bus Station. This
work will bring ease and comfort to the residents of the
neighborhood. The Rodoviária will integrate municipal
and intercity transport, in addition to being a starting
point for the transport of passengers, who wish to travel
to other destinations, inside and outside the State. Within
the Department of Urban Mobility, the Urban Mobility
Plan is also developed, in which all the needs of the city are
studied. Whether in infrastructure or intelligence, seeking
to bring solutions to traffic today and in the future when
the population increases, as we already know that the
city will gain new neighborhoods and, consequently, new
roads. We also invested in public safety by modernizing the
electronic monitoring system. The Integrated Operations
Center, COI, identifies suspicious situations and stolen
vehicles through intelligent monitoring cameras. This
system integrates Cabreúva with other cities in the region.
Also in Public Security, we won a new building to be built
for the Civil Police Station, which will have specialized
care for women victims of violence. We also brought in
the Fire Department, which will be extremely important
for the safety of our people, our natural resources and
industries that have been established here. We are attentive
to the present and future.
Finally, speaking of the future, what
are the expectations that you project for the rest of your
term and for the future of your public career?
Our management is a management of achievement. We are
going to do great works. Works that will bring development
and opportunities to the city. I want to bring the city center
closer to the Jacaré neighborhood and this only happens through
infrastructure, improving the roads, bringing more comfort
and speed to travel. Recently, through a partnership with the
state government, we won the biggest investment in the city’s
history, which will be the duplication of our Serrinha (Rodovia
Vereador José de Moraes - SP 085/300). I am extremely happy to
be able to announce this very important work in my mandate.
It was a victory that we achieved through hard work. Cabreúva
is very lacking in major works that bring development and that
started to change. Let’s change the face of this city, let’s bring
progress and carry out works that the population deserves. By
the end of my term many marks of government can be seen.
When the citizen passes by a place or uses something that was
done in our administration, they will always remember, it was
Mangini who did it, you can be sure, I will leave my legacy
to this city. We want our children to have quality education,
that’s why we are investing in the renovation and construction
of new schools and day care centers, we want them to play
sports, that’s why we revived the sports department that was
abandoned, we renovated soccer fields and multi-sport courts,
which received investments for a long time. Let’s rescue the
history of a city icon that was also abandoned, the new
Cabreuvano Club will be completely revitalized, bringing
leisure and quality of life to our population. We want quality
health to face the challenges of life, we want jobs and income
that bring dignity. I am working so that Cabreuvana families
can enjoy an organized and prosperous city. As for my future,
I’ll keep working, because that’s how I learned to live, day
after day and always looking for solutions to improve our city.
God brought me another challenge, which I’m struggling to
overcome, was when I discovered an illness, early on in my
term as mayor. Thanks to advances in medicine, the support of
my family, my friends and, above all, faith in God, our father,
the treatment has been a success. I am very well, I continue to
work and live life almost normally, as some activities naturally
had to be polished. I really believe that soon we will have great
news that we won this battle together. These trials of life only
serve to strengthen us. If God allows it, I’ll be here, working
for Cabreúva!
