3rd Place in the Município
Agro Award
Beekeeping Training Program
The Municipality of Cabreúva, in partnership with
the National Rural Learning Service (Senar) and the
Rural Union, offers professional training in beekeeping
for rural producers.
The Program aims to train rural producers in the
production of bee products. In order to carry out the
sustainable development of the property and generate
income for these small producers.
Lasting six months, the Program mixes theoretical
classes, at the headquarters of Casa da Agricultura, with
practices, which are carried out on rural properties in
the city. Participants will have classes five times a month
and, at the end of the course, will receive a certificate of
completion.
Free professional training courses
Cabreúva citizens who want to qualify can now
enroll in courses offered by Senai, in partnership with
the Secretariat for Economic Development and the city’s
Social Fund.
Among the training courses available, focusing mainly
on the unemployed, who are looking for a replacement
in the job market, are: Reading and interpretation of
mechanical technical drawing, Industrial hydraulics
and pneumatics and Metrology applied to mechanics.
The courses are carried out in Senai’s mobile trailer.
They are specific to meet the immediate demand for
certain professionals in companies in the municipality.
These are quick courses and, as they take place on
wheels, they can serve the population of different
neighborhoods of the city, thus providing an opportunity
for improvement to all interested parties.
Cabreúva won 3rd place in the Município Agro Award. The city’s excellent
performance in the award ceremony comes to crown the actions that the
City Hall, through its Secretariat for Economic Development, Agribusiness,
Industry and Commerce, is developing in the rural area of the city.
This edition of the Award had more than 400
participating cities, from all over the State of São
Paulo. In addition to the third-place trophy, Cabreúva
also received a check for R$140,000. The Award
demonstrates the city’s commitment to its rural producers,
providing all the necessary support for agribusiness.
Among the topics evaluated are: Maintenance of
rural roads, Encouraging family farming, Correct
disposal of pesticide packaging, Animal vaccination
campaigns, Health in rural areas, Ecological
restoration, Fire prevention plan in rural areas,
Actions and projects that favor rural tourism and
soil conservation plan, erosion control and spring
recovery; between others.
