Connecting the AC Adapter and
Power Cord
(Flg§. 16 & 17)
+Be sure to Llse the provlded AC adaoter Use of other AC adapter
may cause a malfunction.
AThe power cord and AC adapter cord are vulnerable when bent or
twisted. Never subject it to excessive force.
AMake sure that the main switch ® is set to " 0 " (OFF) before cor`nectlng
the power cord.
AAlways use the power cord provided by Olympus. If no power cord
1o provided, please 8eloct the proper power cord by roforrlng to the
section "PPIOPEPI SELEcmoN OF "E POWEP SUPPLY COF`D" at
the end of thls Instruction manual.
1. Connect the output connector ® of the AC adapter to the input connector
© on the rear of tr`e microscope.
ADo not tllt the microscope to the rear. Doing so could damage the
output connector ©.
2 Connect the power coid's connector © [o conneclor ® nrrT\ly.
A Be sure to supply power from a grounded, 3-conductor power outlet
uslng the proper power cord. If the power outlet iB not grounded
proporly, Olympus can no longer warrant the electrical safety performance
clf the t3qu:pment.
