arrow increases brightness and rotating it in the opposite direction decreases

Placing

Specimen on the Stage

(Plg§. 4 & 5)

* Place the specimen gently. 1{ the bow-shaped lever ls returned with

a strong force or the knob ® of the bow-shaped lever i§ released in

the mlddle, the slide glass may be broken.

1. Potate the coarse adjilstment knob © in the direction of the arrow to fully

lower the stage.

2 Open thEt bow-Shaped lever © outward, place trie specimen by sllcling

the specimen glass plates on the stage from the front toward the rear.

3 After Sliding the specimen glass plates all the way, return the bow-shaped

lever ® gently.

4. Botating the upper knob which ls the Y-axis teed knob © moves the

speclmen in the vertical direction. Botatlng the lower knob which ls the X-

axls feed knob ® moves it in the horizontal dlrectlon.

*Do not move the specimen holder dlrectly by hand, for this win

damage the rotary mechanl§ms of the above kncibs.

*When the specimen holder reaoheo the otoppor poeitlon, the

rotation force of the above I(nobs become heavy. Stop rotating

the knob at thls tlme.
