2The editor's PensThis publication is a labour of love. Writing is not my thing. Iam more comfortable behind a mixing board or a camera. Those arethe things that I have done for the last 30 years during mycareers covering motorsports. I have at times ventured into thearea of magazines, but since I am not a writer, it has not beenan easy task for me. However, I saw the need to make anothersignificant contribution to the sport and hence I came up withthe ideas on a monthly motoring publication.I choose a digital platform as I see it as the future. It is lessexpensive, can be interactive and readily available throughoutthe Caribbean and even internationally.I would like to thank all those who contributed to thispublication or supported BHP Motorsports in the pass.Fasten you seat belts, we are about to take off on anotherexciting journey. Gonsalves wins RallyE-Barbados 2020Jeremy Gonsalvescompleted a remarkablehat-trick of Esportsrally victories lastweekend (May 29-31),beating aninternational field by15 seconds in theinaugural RallyE-Barbados.Gonsalves had alreadytriumphed in theprevious weekend’sKing of thE Hill andone of CRC’s firstevents, Rally Trinidad2020. Although theprovisional entrynumbered more than200, Friday night'sstages were tackled bya total of 162starters, motor sportregulars and sim-onlycompetitors relishingthe chance forcompetition while thecorona virus pandemichas closed down realworldrallying.

This publication is a labour of love. Writing is not my thing. I
am more comfortable behind a mixing board or a camera. Those are
the things that I have done for the last 30 years during my
careers covering motorsports. I have at times ventured into the
area of magazines, but since I am not a writer, it has not been
an easy task for me. However, I saw the need to make another
significant contribution to the sport and hence I came up with
the ideas on a monthly motoring publication.
I choose a digital platform as I see it as the future. It is less
expensive, can be interactive and readily available throughout
the Caribbean and even internationally.
I would like to thank all those who contributed to this
publication or supported BHP Motorsports in the pass.
