The Conductivity Probe determines the ionic<br />
content of an aqueous solution by measuring<br />
its electrical conductivity. Students can quickly<br />
investigate the difference between ionic and<br />
molecular compounds, strong and weak acids,<br />
or ionic compounds that yield different ratios<br />
of ions.<br />

the conductivity of non-aqueous solutions<br />
and strong acids and bases. The Platinum-<br />
Cell Conductivity Probe features automatic<br />
temperature compensation (2%) for aqueous<br />
solutions; turn off temperature compensation<br />
to allow students to explore the dependence<br />
of conductivity on temperature.<br />
