Work area safetyffAvoid dangerous environments. Don’t useappliances in damp or wet locations. Don’t useappliances in the rain.ffKeep children away. All visitors should be kept ata distance from work area.ffStore idle appliances indoors. When not in use,appliances should be stored indoors in dry, and highor locked-up place – out of reach of children.ffDon’t force appliance. Also use face ordust mask if operation is dusty. This applies to allpersons in the work area. Also use a hard hat, hearingprotection, gloves, safety shoes and dust collectionsystems when specified or required. Never carry appliance by cord oryank it to disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord fromheat, oil, and sharp edges.ffDon’t overreach. Keep proper footing and balanceat all times.ffDisconnect appliances. Disconnect the appliancefrom the power supply when not in use, beforeservicing, and when changing accessories suchas bla<strong>de</strong>s and the like.ffAvoid unintentional starting. Don’t carry plugged-inappliance with finger on switch. Be sure switch is offwhen plugging in.ffElectrical fault circuit interruptor protectionshould be provi<strong>de</strong>d on the circuits or outletsto be used. Receptacles are available having builtin electrical fault circuit interruptor protection and maybe used for this measure of safety.ffUse of accessories and attachments. Watch what you are doing. Use commonsense. Do not operate tool when you are tired.ffCheck damaged parts. Checkfor alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts,breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditionsthat may affect its operation. Have<strong>de</strong>fective switches replaced by authorized service center.Do not use tool if switch does not turn it on and off.ffDo not operate portable electric tools nearflammable liquids or in gaseous or explosiveatmospheres. Motors in these tools normally spark,and the sparks might ignite fumes.ffOutdoor use extension cords. When tool is usedoutdoors, use only extension cords inten<strong>de</strong>d for useoutdoors and so marked.ffExtension cords. Make sure your extension cord isin good condition. When using an extension cord, besure to use one heavy enough to carry the currentyour product will draw. An un<strong>de</strong>rsized cord willcause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of powerand overheating.2. Servicea. Have your power tool serviced by a qualifiedrepair person using only i<strong>de</strong>ntical replacementparts. This will ensure that the safety of the powertool is maintained.
