Roberto Manuel TorresiLABORATÓRIO DE MATERIAISELETROATIVOSThe control and manipulation of particles at thenanoscopic universe is a new and exciting frontierfor chemists. Due to its size nanomaterials presentproperties, which are different from bulk ones, asfor example, a faster kinetics due to its special architecture.One of our research lines is related to thecontrol and manipulation of nanoscopic particles andtheir electrochemical behavior. Other research line isrelated to polymeric acrylic blends and conductingpolymers. These blends can be used for corrosionprotection as smart films. This means that the polymericblend can passivate the metal when its dissolutionbeguins. Finally, it is necessary to mention themulti and interdisciplinary character of this researcharea, which will be important for a complete formationof the stu<strong>de</strong>nts in electrochemistry of advancedmaterials.Publicações:M.
