Com um recorte autoral, a mostra busca localizar realizadores ao redor do mundo
que se dedicam a pensar o cinema como ferramenta de embate estético, social e
político. São realizadores que estão na fronteira, seja ela geográfica, humana ou do
próprio pensamento. Nessa primeira edição traz cineastas inquietantes como o
filipino Khavn de la Cruz, o português Rui Simões, o franco-marroquino Marc Hurtado
e o brasileiro Marcelo Pedroso. Rui Simões estará presente exibindo seu último
trabalho, e irá conversar com o público sobre seus filmes e seu trabalho como realizador
With an authorist approach, the programme tries to search for filmmakers around
the world that dedicates their work thinking about cinema as an implement of aesthetic,
social and political clashes. They are filmmakers that are in the border, be it
geographical, human or the border of thought itself. In this first edition we will exhibit
impressive and disturbing films from filmmakers such as the philipine Khavn de la
Cruz, portuguese Rui Simões, franco-morrocan Marc Hurtado and brazilian Marcelo
Pedroso. Rui Simões will be at the festival presenting his new film, and will talk
about his films in a special section.The program also features the participation of
directors for talks after the sessions.
