CINEMA OF TRANSFORMATION: PATHWAYS OF ANDREA TONACCI<br />
No cinema que Andrea Tonacci realiza, na experiência de cada filme que faz, desde<br />
1965, ou no ato de filmar simplesmente, existem intensidades misteriosas. Esta<br />
mostra, construída em diálogo com Andrea, parte da vontade de exibir todos os<br />
filmes possíveis de sua filmografia, enfatizando o percurso de transformação da<br />
forma em cada um, e também trazendo a tona materiais inéditos entre filmes autorais,<br />
institucionais e trechos de material filmado, momentos da experiência transformadora<br />
da vida. A mostra conta com sua presença para quatro conversas muito<br />
especiais. Uma conversa será sobre Já Visto, Jamais Visto, seu filme novo; uma<br />
outra vai ser sobre o filme Arara, com o indigenista Sydney Possuelo, personagem<br />
e parte do filme de 1980. Haverá uma terceira prosa para discutir seu ofício quando<br />
trabalhando sobre motivação institucional e ainda, ocorrerá um bate-papo muito<br />
especial para discussão de seus Tapes P&B da Década de 1970, material bruto<br />
inédito de conteúdo surpresa dentro do festival.<br />
Since 1965, Andrea Tonacci performs in the experience of every film he does, or<br />
simply in the act of shooting, the existence of mysterious intensities. This retrospective,<br />
built on dialogue with Andrea, part of the desire to display all possible<br />
films of his filmography, emphasizing the route of transformation in each form, and<br />
also bringing forth between unpublished materials, corporate films and excerpts<br />
from filmed material moments of transformative life experience. The programme<br />
will have Andrea’s presence for four very special conversations. He will talk about<br />
his last film Já Visto, Jamais Visto; another will be about the film Arara, with the<br />
indigenous Sydney Possuelo, character of the 1980 film. There will be also a third<br />
conversation to discuss his working on institutional motivation and finally a very<br />
special chat to discuss its Tapes B&W of the 70’s, unpublished raw material with<br />
surprise contents inside the festival.<br />
