CCR AutoBAn project for reducing electrical consumption at the toll plazas, resulting in a savings of 7,408,000
watts, which is enough energy to supply a population of 360 people per month
Tire recycling project of CCR RodoNorte that has contributed to the recovery of the asphalt on around 300 km
of the concessionaire’s highways, about half of its total, which made it possible to reuse some 360,000 tires
that would have been dumped in the environment
Teams specialized in handling wild animals, in order to reduce their being hit by vehicles on the highways
In the areas of environmental impact, the company seeks to compensate by reforesting the affected areas. An
example is CCR AutoBAn that began, in 2008, to reforest 12 permanent preservation areas along the extension
of Bandeirantes Highway
Investments by CCR to increase traffic flow will also provide good environmental results. By concluding the
Anhanguera Complex, approximately 26,000 vehicles per day should stop circulating through the Vila Anastácio
district, on the west side of São Paulo, thus not emitting 70 tons of CO2 per day
Environmental education actions in the communities where it is involved seek to spread information regarding
the importance of being environmentally aware
