Better visibility • Paving made to French BBTM ( Béton Bitumuneux Trés Mince) specifications
reduces the spray effect (water that sprays on the windshields of cars
following behind, on rainy days) (ViaOeste)
• There was a 35% reduction in the number of accidents, on rainy days,
along sections paved according to these specifications, at kilometers
12 and 32 (in both directions) and kilometers 48 and 79 (toward the
interior) on the Castello Branco highway.
Improved police • Twelve Corolla Fielder automobiles and six Yamaha XT 660 motorcycles
patrols
delivered, besides radar, to the State Highway Patrol in Paraná

Well-kept highways • Ecological Asphalt resists cracking and rutting much more. As a result, it
