Exposição 25 Anos de Design Flexiv
Produzida em comemoração ao aniversário de 25 anos da empresa especializada em móveis de escritório, a
exposição traçou um paralelo entre a evolução do design e as criações da Flexiv ao longo de um quarto de
século. A exposição foi realizada no showroom da empresa, no bairro Bom Retiro, e ficou aberta ao público de
1o a 31 de outubro.
Exhibition – 25 Years of Design Flexiv
O evento foi organizado pelos designers Zeh Henrique Rodrigues e Ludger Tamaoki
e propôs uma discussão sobre o design de embalagens sustentáveis. Realizado no
Museu Oscar Niemeyer, no dia 22 de outubro, o Fora da caixa contou com palestras e a
realização de uma mesa-redonda com o intuito de levar mais informação e reflexão aos
profissionais e estudantes de design.
Outside the Box
This event was organized by designers Zeh Henrique Rodrigues and Ludger Tamaoki and
proposed a discussion about sustainable packaging design. Held at the Oscar Niemeyer
Museum on October 22, Outside the Box consisted of lectures and a round table discussion
aimed towards bringing more information to and provoking reflections among design
professionals and students.
O evento, realizado entre 24 de setembro e 29 de outubro, foi composto por uma série de workshops com a participação de
professores e profissionais da área. O objetivo principal foi difundir o valor do design e seu impacto na moda. A influência
da sustentabilidade na sociedade também foi tema do evento. Os workshops Transformação e Reciclagem na moda, Vestindo o
nu, Modelando o corpo e Moda X Sustentabilidade foram realizados na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, no Bloco
TECPUCPR. O lugar também recebeu a exposição Moda, design, inovação e sustentabilidade.
InFashion – TECPUCPR
This event, held from September 24 to October 29, consisted of a series of workshops attended by teachers and professionals working in
the field. The main objective was to promote appreciation of design’s worth and its impact on fashion. The influence of sustainability
on society was another of the event’s main themes. The workshops Transformation and Recycling in Fashion, Dressing the Nude,
Modeling the Body and Fashion x Sustainability were held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. That location also put on
the exhibition Fashion, Design, Innovation and Sustainability.
Organized in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Flexiv, a company specialized in office furniture, the
show outlined a parallel between the evolution of world design and the of world design and the company’s
creations over the course of the past quarter century. The exhibition was held in the company’s showroom in Bom
Retiro neighborhood and was open from October 1-31.
Bienal e FNAC
Entre 14 de setembro e 31 de outubro, a livraria FNAC Curitiba, localizada no ParkShopping Barigui,
promoveu diversas ações culturais. Foram lançamentos de livros, debates, palestras, exposição e atividades
voltadas para as crianças. Também foram oferecidos descontos especiais no setor de Design.
Biennial and FNAC
From September 14 to October 31, Curitiba’s FNAC bookstore in Barigui shopping mall organized several
cultural activities. These included book release parties, debates, lectures, exhibitions and activities for children.
Also, special discounts were offered for design related books.
Exposição ProDesign PR
Realizada no Memorial de Curitiba, no Setor Histórico da cidade, entre 14 de setembro e 31 de outubro,
a exposição revelou a produção dos designers do Paraná. O propósito do evento foi estimular a troca de
informações com a comunidade e divulgar a Associação para o Design do Paraná.

Guto Índio da Costa Lecture
A lecture, held in Curitiba, on October 21st, featuring cases
from product designer Guto Índio da Costa.
Held at the Curitiba Memorial Center in the city’s historical neighborhood from September 14 to October 31,
this exhibition revealed what designers from the state of Paraná are producing. The proposal for the event was to
stimulate information sharing with the community and advertise the Paraná Design Association.
