of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United<br />

Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia,<br />
The Hague (1998-2001). Director General of the Arab<br />
World Institute (Institut du monde arabe, Paris) (1991-<br />
1998). Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative<br />
to the United Nations (1985-1989). Professor and<br />
later Dean of the Faculty of Law in Rabat (Morocco)<br />
(1972-1984). Founder and first Director of the Revue<br />
