VOLUMETRIC ESTIMATION OF EQUATIONS FOR COMMERCIAL TREE IN PARAGOMINAS,<br />

STATE OF PARÁ.<br />

ABSTRACT<br />

The information base alongside the development of this work was obtained in a stand of rainforest<br />

dense, located in the farm Rio Capim, owned to the Cikel Brasil Verde Madeiras Lt<strong>da</strong>., in the municipality<br />

of Paragomi<strong>na</strong>s, State of Pará, consisting of 234 samples-trees, which were selected according to the<br />

economic interest of the company at the time of forestry, determining the number of trees for especies,<br />

which were distribulted in to 7 diametric classes, with amplitudes of 12 cm, 49 cm in the range of up<br />

to 127 cm. In each samples-trees was determined the real volume using the methodology proposed<br />

by Smalian, measuring the circumference in the sections of 2 m on 2 m and determining the CAP and<br />

its commercial real height. Volumetric models were adjusted double entry, in order to select the model<br />

with best setting and accuracy, based on the value of statistical F, the highest coefficient of determi<strong>na</strong>tion<br />

(R²), the lowest stan<strong>da</strong>rd error of estimate in percentege (Syx) and the a<strong>na</strong>lysis of waste through the<br />

Middle Deviation Percentage (MDP). Based on these criterion, concluded that the best model to be<br />

employed on the farm Rio Capim was with Schumacher-Hall for presenting the best result for the<br />

volume estimated with shell, because it showed greater accuracy for estimating the volume depending<br />

on the diameter and total height of trees, which the equation is selected and recommended for the<br />

study area.<br />
