Abstract<br />

The Pre-school Education is a <strong>de</strong>cisive stage in the formation of the child as a person,<br />

having the duty to provi<strong>de</strong> situations of contact with literature, promoting the global<br />

<strong>de</strong>velopment – cognitive, psychological, emotional, civic, ethical, aesthetic and<br />

linguistic – of the child.<br />

The contact of the child with the quality book, from the first years of life, and particularly<br />

with the Children’s Literature, is essential to promote an aesthetic and literary initiation<br />

that will be <strong>de</strong>terminative in his future as a rea<strong>de</strong>r, as soon as it makes possible the<br />

discovery of the pleasure of the reading, stimulates the imaginative and creative<br />

capacity of the child, it <strong>de</strong>velops his artistic sensibility, his reflexive capacity and the<br />

acquisition of literary conventions that they will allow to him to enjoy, in the<br />

un<strong>de</strong>rstanding form, the polysemy of the literary and the iconic languages.<br />

However, in educative context, the Children’s Literature can also be approched in a<br />

cross and transdisciplinary perspective, due to his formative value and to the subjects<br />

that often relate themselves with the education for the citizenship, in his multiple forms.<br />

So, in this Final Report I intend to present a Project of Investigation-action that I<br />

<strong>de</strong>veloped in the context of my Practice and Supervised Intervention (PSI) of the<br />

Master's <strong>de</strong>gree in Pre-school Education in the activities room B of the Kin<strong>de</strong>rgarten of<br />

the Atalaião, having like subject “The Transversality of the Children’s Literature in Pre-<br />

school context”. For the preparation of this project, I found important to recover some of<br />

the informations that were composing my Project of Observation / report, carried out in<br />

the context of the Curricular Unity of Observation and Supervised Cooperation, of the<br />

same master's <strong>de</strong>gree.<br />

Starting from those informations, I conceived a projet of intervention-action centered in<br />

the transdisciplinary approach of the Children’s Literature, with children with ages<br />

between the four and six years.<br />
