I have received your letter of 15 December, 1847 in wich you give
me notice my drawings are ready for above one year and three months. I
think you have made some mistake in the calculation, because in the last
letter you have favoured me with, can 1 you dont state the completiness of
those drawings. You must know well, that M r . Camara has regressed to
this country the past Spring, and I have been awaiting from then, news
from you, always ready to satisfy all what I have been bound to. I supose
you cannot say that yours services are unpaid, considering I have paid you
one hundred pounds for the drawings I have already received; I have not
paid you only those you have not delivered me yet. If you would adress
me sooner, the remainder sum would be also paid.
I write in this date to S.F.L. Pereira Esq re . 91 Great Tower Street
City London to pay you 50 £ at the delivering of the drawings, and pray
you to send me by the same occasion drawings for the boat house, the
pavillion at (?), and according to the adjoint note fountain at, summer
house at and a little seat building at the corner all these drawings I wish
elegant but not very expensive. I would be also very obliged to you if you
deliver to M r . Pereira a coloured and very finished view of the House and
some part of the kitchen garden I have left you in London at my depart to
take a copy to present in a exibition, and I have not yet get it. Finally you
will be good enough to send me some drawings for the front yard, not
having get anything about this part of the building. Excuse my faults, I am
not well acquainted with your language.
