varieties: (1) equigranular leucomonzogranite, associated with the Mata Surrão Granite; (2)
Porphyritic leucomonzogranite related to the Guarantã Granite; and (3) medium to coarse grained
leucomonzogranite associated with the Rancho de Deus granite. These rocks intruded the Rio Maria
Granodiorite, Arco verde Tonalites and the supracrustal rocks, which were intruded by Proterozoic
anorogenic granites of the Jamon Suite.
The maximum elevations correspond to granite domains of the Jamon Suites, represented by the
Bannach Granite, located in the northwest; Musa granite, in the northeast, and Marajoara Granite
in the central-east. They are non-foliated, high-level granites, which were emplaced in a rigid crust
and cut discordantly their country rocks. In the contact zones, xenoliths of the country rocks are
commonly included in the granites and thermal effects in the adjacent rocks attained the
hornblende-hornfels facies contact metamorphism. The spatial distribution of their facies indicate in
general a zoning approximately concentric, with the less evolved facies located along the border
and the more evolved situated in the central portion of the massif. New occurrences
and/or indications of wolframite, amethyst, quartz vugghs, sulphides (pyrite), in the Marajoara
sheet.
