Sujeitos da EJA e o
currículo

RESUMO
O presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre
a teoria e a prática curricular desenvolvidas
na Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Esta modalidade
de Educação vem suscitando discussões
para que se configure como campo próprio e
identidades próprias nas políticas públicas
educacionais do Brasil, levando em consideração
todas as suas especificidades. Este é o
grande desafio ao pensarmos na construção de
um currículo que atenda aos anseios e necessidades
da EJA, que se apresenta como campo
de práticas educativas que abriga uma diversidade
de concepções. O currículo apresenta-se
como um espaço privilegiado para se analisar
e refletir como tais concepções se acomodam,
interagem ou se sobrepõem nas tentativas de
construção de um currículo no qual se expressam
as várias identidades dos sujeitos da Educação
de Jovens e Adultos.

ABSTRACT
This article aims to reflect on the curriculum
theory and practice developed for Youth
and Adult education. This type of education
has been raising discussions to set it up
as a field itself with its own identity in
the public educational policies in Brazil,
taking into account all its specificities. This
is the greatest challenge when thinking
of building a curriculum that meets the
aspirations and needs of Youth and Adult
Education, which presents itself as a field
of educational practices that holds a great
diversity of concepts. The curriculum is an
ideal opportunity to examine and reflect
on how such concepts are suitable, how
they interact or overlap in their attempts to
build a curriculum in which to express the
different identities of the subjects of Youth
and Adult Education.
