RESUMO
Muitos problemas relacionados à não aprendizagem
dos educandos da EJA se dão pelo fato
dos professores não se disporem a investir na
retomada da sua prática pedagógica, visando
ao rompimento de paradigmas que oferecem
à educação um caráter meramente conteudista.
Este estudo teve o objetivo de promover
uma reflexão sobre a prática pedagógica da
Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), em uma
escola municipal de Palmas. Os dados foram
levantados através de questionários e blocos
de notas com duas professoras da sexta série,
que indicam fatores que interferem no ensino
e na aprendizagem, como falta de planejamento,
tornando as aulas uma mera cópia do
livro didático, com metodologias que não correspondem
ao contexto atual. Portanto, ação e
reflexão devem fazer parte de todo o processo
pedagógico.

ABSTRACT
Many problems related to Youth and Adult
Education students not learning occur
because teachers do not strive to invest in the
recovery of their teaching practice, aiming to
break the paradigms that imbue education
with a merely content-oriented nature.
This study aimed to promote reflection on
the Youth and Adult Education teaching
practice, in a city school in Palmas. The data
were gathered through questionnaires and
notebooks with two sixth-grade teachers,
who indicate factors that interfere with
teaching and learning, such as lack of
planning, making the classes a mere copy
of the textbook with methods that do not
match current context. Therefore, action
and reflection should be part of the whole
educational process.
