CONCLUSÃO<br />

Os <strong>schwannoma</strong>s <strong>do</strong> <strong>hipoglosso</strong> são infreqüentes e<br />

devem ser considera<strong>do</strong>s como causa de paralisia <strong>do</strong> 12º<br />

nervo craniano. A RM é excelente arma para a confirmação<br />

diagnóstica, nos diagnósticos diferenciais e no<br />

planejamento cirúrgico, pois demonstra a exata extensão<br />

da massa, a localização anatômica precisa e as relações<br />

com as estruturas adjacentes [2,7,8,9] .<br />
