Com o auxílio <strong>de</strong>ssa imag<strong>em</strong> é possível ratificar que a distribuição não é capaz <strong>de</strong> representar <strong>de</strong> forma satisfatória a distribuição diamétrica da Araucária. Sabe-se que a distribuição Beta é uma das mais flexíveis que exist<strong>em</strong>, mas ainda assim não é capaz ajustar- se a esses dados bimodais. Outro bom indicador encontra-se na figura 43, on<strong>de</strong> estão apresentados os resíduos percentuais entre valores estimados pelo mo<strong>de</strong>lo e observados a campo. 86
