Caracteres, etc. - Braconideos pequenos de 2 a 7 milímetros, porém relativamente robustos. Como nos representantes da subfamília Dacnusinae o aspecto das mandíbulas é característico: elas são curtas, re- lativamente robustas e voltadas para fora ou para baixo; quando voltadas para a linha mediana, não se tocam, nem se entrecruzam (Exodontes) (fig. 46).
