Å ARBEIDE TRYGT I EKSPLOSJONSFARLIGE OMRÅDER krever mye kunnskap
og ferdigheter. En liten glipp kan være nok til å forårsake ulykker med
fatale følger. Både norske og utenlandske myndigheter stiller derfor
høye krav til dokumentasjon av kompetanse. IECEx CoPC er et internasjonalt
system for kompetansesertifisering av personell som driver med design,
installa sjon, drift og inspeksjon av elektriske installasjoner i Ex-områder.
Hos oss kan du ta både forberedende kurs og selve sertifiseringseksamenen.
SAFE WORKING IN HAZARDOUS AREAS requires knowledge and skills.
A small mistake may be enough to cause a fatal accident. Both Norwegian
and other authorities require high standards regarding documentation
of competence. IECEx CoPC is an international system for certifying the
competence of personnel working with the design, installation, operation
and inspection of electrical installations in Ex areas. At Trainor you can
take both the preparatory course and the certification exam itself.

Scheme gir et uavhengig bevis på at
en person som har IECEx kompetansesertifikat
har kunnskap og ferdigheter til
å utføre arbeider i henhold til internasjonale
Ex-standarder. I et marked preget av flyt
av arbeidskraft over landegrenser vil
et IECEx-sertifikat gi både trygghet og
konkurransefortrinn. IECEx-sertifikatet
tilfredsstiller norske myndigheters krav
til kompetansebevis for elektrofagarbeidere
som beskrevet i Norsk
olje og gass retningslinje 059, samt
kravene til kompetanse som beskrevet
i IEC normene.
Proof of competence
The IECEx Certificates of Personnel
Competence Scheme provides independent
proof that the holder of an IECEx
Certificate of Competence has the
knowledge and skills needed to conduct
work in accordance with international Ex
safety standards. In a market dominated
by a mobile international workforce,
an IECEx certificate provides both safety
assurance and a competitive edge.
An IECEx certificate meets the requirements
of the Norwegian authorities for
vouching the competence of electrical
professionals, as described in Norwegian
oil and gas guideline 059, and competence
requirements as described in the
IEC standards.
Regelmessig resertifisering sikrer at den sertifiserte personen
opprettholder sin kompetanse.
Regular recertification ensures the certified person maintains
the required level of competence.

Ready for the exam?
SERTIFISERINGEN STILLER HØYE KRAV til faglig kunnskap og ferdigheter.
Det forutsettes at du har oppdaterte grunnleggende tekniske kunnskaper
(Ex-kurs) og kjennskap til relevante standarder. Forberedende kurs er ikke
obligatorisk, men vil gi deg et godt grunnlag i forkant av eksamen.

Sertifisering
Trainor vil i samarbeid med et sertifiseringsorgan tilrettelegge for avholdelse
av eksamen dagen etter kurset.
Ved påmelding til kurset får deltaker tilsendt link til søknad som må fylles ut og sendes
Trainor i god tid før eksamen. Søknadsskjema kan også lastes ned fra trainor.no.

OUR COURSES HOLD A HIGH
STANDARD and require
a high level of Ex knowledge.
CERTIFICATION REQUIRES A HIGH STANDARD of professional knowledge
and skills. Up-to-date basic technical knowledge (Ex course) and knowledge
of relevant standards is necessary. The preparatory course is not a
requirement but it provides you with a good platform for taking the exam.

Certification
In collaboration with a certified body (CB), Trainor will make the necessary provisions
for the certification examination to be held the day after the course.
Course participants will receive a link to the exam application form, which must be
completed and returned to Trainor in plenty of time before the exam. The application
form may also be downloaded from trainor.no.
