Det er dessuten en vandrepokal til det korpset som oppnår høyest poengsum 

uansett divisjon. Pokalen er gitt av Stavanger konserthus.

A spokesman for the Brass in Concert Organising Team commented: “We are 

looking forward to welcoming Stavanger Brass Band, the 2015 Siddis Brass 

Champion, to next weekend’s 40th Brass in Concert Championship. 

The strong links between Norway and the Brass in Concert Championship are 

well documented and we are delighted to be able to continue that relationship 

by extending an invitation to the 2016 

Elite Division winner to our 2017 event in the 

magnificent surroundings of Sage Gateshead, 

one of the finest concert venues in Europe. 

We wish all the bands taking part in all 

sections of Siddis Brass, as well as the hardworking 

supporters who put so much into the 

staging of such an outstanding event, an 

enjoyable and successful weekend.”
