FoU i praksis nr. 2 2012English summary: Promoting the joy of writing and adaptive teaching inthe Norwegian language classroomThis article presents a teaching plan and its implementation in a Norwegianlanguage classroom in the sixth grade. The work was carried out as part of acollaborative action research project between teachers and researchers. Theoverall aim was to improve adaptive teaching and to stimulate the pupils’eagerness to write. The work was based on response theory and a wide notionof adaptive teaching. The article presents this theoretical basis, the differentdata that were collected, and the teaching process. The findings show that wesucceeded in developing adaptive teaching and writing in the class.
