ENGLISHDESCRIPTIONThe solar collector array's circulation pump (P1) starts when the specified temperature difference forswitch-on between the solar collector panel temperature (T1) and the temperature (T2) in the bottom ofthe storage tank is reached. If the difference between the solar collector panel temperature (T1) and thetemperature (T2) in the bottom of the storage tank falls below the specified temperature difference forswitch-off, or the temperature (T3) in the upper part of the tank reaches the maximum permitted value, the circulation pump (P1) switches off. If the temperature (T3) in the upper part of the tank falls below theswitch-on level for auxiliary heating, the auxiliary heating device is activated.1 solar collector - 1 storage tankT1: Temperature sensor for solar collectorT2: Temperature sensor in the lower part of the storage tankT3: Temperature sensor in the upper part of the storage tankP1: Circulation pumpP2: Circulation pumpDANGER! If there is only one temperature sensor in the storage tank (usually the bottom, T2),the auxiliary heating device does not switch on/off correctly, as the water temperature (T3) in theupper part of the storage tank is not measured. However, if you are using the auxiliary heatingfunction, the control program uses the signal from temperature sensor T2 in the bottom part ofthe storage tank instead. This could mean that the water in the top part of the storage tankbecomes so hot that it could cause personal injury and damage to equipment. The auxiliaryheating device should therefore not be used unless temperature sensor T3 is working properly.52
