6.4 Decommissioning the device<br />

➤ To decommission the device, switch the function switch to “OFF” and, if<br />

necessary, pull the connection cable from the socket.<br />

➤ If you will not be using the device for a long time, remove the battery box/<br />

charge box from the device by grasping it on the bottom of the device and<br />

pulling it towards the front (see 2 4, page 3).<br />

7 Cleaning and maintenance<br />

Caution!<br />

Before cleaning the cooler, pull the cable out of the socket.<br />

Caution!<br />

Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.<br />

Caution!<br />

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning<br />

as these can damage the device.<br />

➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.<br />

8 Disposal<br />

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins<br />

wherever possible.<br />

If you need to scrap the device, ask your local recycling centre or<br />

specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance<br />

with the applicable disposal regulations.<br />

Protect the environment!<br />

Do not dispose of empty batteries/rechargeable batteries in<br />

general household waste. Return empty rechargeable batteries to<br />

your retailer or take them to a collection point.<br />
